22.03.05 two days after seeing anastacia perform at Wembley in London i'm still buzzing from it, Anastacia must be forever on a high whilst touring! review to follow first other Anastacia news...


~MTV UK 'The Diary of Anastacia' following her on the 2004 leg of her European tour will be shown any day now, so checkout local listenings for times.

~Anastacia will be a judge on MTV (www.mtc.co.uk/acut) Acut a brand new tv programme looking for a band to support Anastacia on a European tour - which means the programme doesnt air untill September so *hint hint* Anastacia may just be touring again later in the year? we shall see.

~Anastacia appeared on German TV at the weekend (pre-recorded), she performed and was interviewed here are a couple of pictures:

Wembley, London Concert Review (20th/03/05):....

And now performing infront of 10'000 totally up for it UK fans....so Wembley pavillion, 8:30pm and muffled from behind the giant Anastacia Tour banner comes a drummer warming up for the amazing 2 hours ahead. This is third time I've seen the European Tour and this is always the moment that gets me most excited as it marks Anastacia's arrival on stage as mere minutes rather than hours, days, weeks, months!!

and after having to wait and wait and wait outside before being allowed in to the venue, and then having to wait to take our seats, the crowd was in need of some supporting band action to liven them up, all what was on offer was mtv videos on a never ending cycle and a text screen to say 'hello' to fellow Anastacia fans, so when finally the drummer started the atmosphere shifted and the whistles and shouts for action commenced.

The tour layout is pretty much the same, Anastacia performs alittle differently at each show which evidently makes it more enjoyable for her. The energy this lady has, wow totally amazing. Alot more relaxed and comfortable on stage is evident simply in the way she interacts with the crowd, her fabulous dancers and band.

Anastacia still got rather emotional during 'Heavy on my Heart' & 'Your never be alone' as she performed this song someone threw a teddy bear on stage, unfortunately Anastacia missed it, all we hear is ''oh shoot, umm lalalalalalalaaaa'' and right back into the song! The usual very funny Anastacia moments took place all the way through the show, and Anastacia being Anastacia singing everything 100% live and upclose mean't every person there on Sunday night loved it, you could tell by there faces at the end and just simply the atmosphere as it was electric.

Oh and I havent said I was sitting 5th row completely center, and in my opinion the best seat in the house! especially as I was sitted behind Anastacias VIP guests! so if it's good enough for them!! was a complete fan-ana-tastic night! one I shall never forget.

17.03.05 The German concert went ahead last night meaning, Anastacia has had a rather quick recovery from the flu! or more likely the Denmark stadium only held 4'500 people the smallest venue on the tour so this may of been a factor for cancelling and having an extra days rest! i guess we shall never know the real reason for cancelling - but anyways fingers crossed all remaining dates go without anymore problems.

Oh and 4 Days to go!! haha

14.03.05 Sad News to report. In a recent news posting I reported how Anastacia was fighting off a cold virus which was going around the band/crew now Anastacia has officially cancelled tonights performance in Denmark, Horsen dew to having Influenza! So seriously this time get well wishes to Anastacia. In the Live At Last tour including the 2004 first leg Anastacia never cancelled one show! Now after performing nearly 50 sold out shows its a desperate shame for fans, an extra date may be added to reconcile for the cancellation but fingers crossed Anastacia is fit and well soon, as she has many concerts still to do! esp the one this coming sunday! ;) and of course April 1st.

Anastacia wants to break in to the movies! Talking in a recent interview for the sunday mail newspaper (uk) (06th/03/05)

'But she's already thinking about moving on and she's keen to break into movies.
"Acting is something I am sort of teasing my way towards. I have a new management company who handle De Niro, Sarah Michelle Gellar and Cameron Diaz.
Choosing that company was about being able to expand my career in that direction.
I definitely want to open that door." See the right movie I think Anastacia has a huge shot of making alil cameo appearance in some big hollywood oscar winning epic!! haha

Also Anastacia talked about the single Heavy on my Heart: All profits from the record are being donated to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation through the Anastacia Fund.
She said:
"It was a very intense song to write. I wasn't sure what to do with it but the label loved it and wanted to release it'But I wanted to walk away from the focus of cancer for a while, get some other singles out first. Then I asked if we could donate the profits and the record company agreed right away. It was less than the blink of an eye.
'It's my way of giving something back and the fans can do it with me by buying it."

07.03.05 I'm off to see Anastacia in; 13 days or 18`720 minutes or 1`123`200 seconds haha so can't wait it will surely be another fanANAtastic performance.
Apparently at some concerts the so called 'fanclub tickets' are simply empty seats where fans should be, this could be down to firstly the fanclub might not of sold all the tickets or somehow third parties have got a hold of these tickets and tried to make money via the internet probarly one such site which starts with the letter 'e' and 'bay' ~ nevermind as the fanclub seats taken up have been by reports very good seats (in which mine too HAVE to be, cos I say so) but other than that all reviews say Anastacia Live At Last 2005 is better than 2004's as she is more relaxed on stage and has alot of audience interaction, in which this time the Anastacia idol is chosen on the night on the concert by inviting the audience to sing for Ana and if chosen have the chance to join her on stage and sing infront of thousands of fans! *for this I will be at the back of the queue* ~
